After my busy working life in the production of industrial products and thereafter as claims adjuster of sea going ships I started painting, fulfilling a long life wish.
I am autodidact as a painter, also for photography and other art forms.
First I took lessons by an artist for some years, thereafter I set about painting on my own. I use various techniques for portraits, landscapes and abstracts. I make my own paints. Some 10 years ago I started painting on the computer using a drawing tablet, with good results. Digital photography is a great hobby for me.
During painting I find rest to bring my feelings over onto canvas. A big part of my work derives from my past, character and also what I see and experience.
Looking at art in museums and the many galleries give an insight, also the various literature about art and how it has been made.

Works on paper 350-400 grams will be placed on an off white passe-partout with an appr. 5cm edge in a frame with 4-8 mm space for additional charges.
Photos can be executed in different ways, depending on what will be agreed such as: Lambdaprint, plexphoto or cibachrome. A proof photo will be required.
